The MS KB issue documented in 272425 is the reason why we specify the following info in our readme and website http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=663&context=SSGSG7&q=&uid=swg21052221&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en+en under "Client Requirements for Microsoft Windows...." that "Windows 2000 Professional, Server, Advanced Server, or Datacenter Server GA, SP1, SP2 (SP2 required if Active Directory installed)"
