Milton,

The short answer is no.  You can only use the most recent
full/incremental series to restore to the most current state, i.e. using
the ROLLFORWARD log.  The reason is that once you do a DBB (either full
or incremental) the log is reset.  Therefore any older version, in your
case the first DBB full, can only be used for a PIT restore.

Hang in there, I know it gets confusing at times but it really does make
sense in a crazy sort of way!
