Yes, you can call SQLDriverConnect() with a valid connection string. The ODBC driver README file includes information on creating file DSNs. The parameters discussed therein apply to the SQLDriverConnect() string as well, and can be used to created DSN-less connection strings.
Example of a string: driver=tsm odbc driver;uid=myadmin;tcpaddr=my.tsm.server.address;tcpport=1500;pwd=xxxxx Regards, Andy Andy Raibeck IBM Software Group Tivoli Storage Manager Client Development Internal Notes e-mail: Andrew Raibeck/Tucson/[EMAIL PROTECTED] Internet e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The only dumb question is the one that goes unasked.
