No. I don't believe you can restore a file from a IBM JFS filesystem to anything but an AIX box.

Or a Linux box.

Hi
You will need an AIX box to restore the files. This is because you cant restore AIX filesystems to a Windows-based server.

Subject AIX Node Down
Hi all
I am using TSM Server 5.1.10 on Windows 2K and One Node on AIX, and that AIX system has gone down for the past two days. Now I want to restore some files from that node. How can I restore the data from that node.
I tried by Loging into the AIX node from the Windows 2K, I can able to logon but it is showing only the file spaces and it is not showing any files / Directories on that.
The files are been archived from the AIX Node.
Thanks in advance, Regards Sujay Dinakar R Hyderabad.
