Your intel team probably already has software that can push your .bat file out to the Win2K clients. -----Original Message----- From: Hart, Charles [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, June 01, 2004 5:11 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Separating Windows System Object Backup from the File system Backups I there's go to be an issue with the C:\Program File\ folder having a space. When I run the c:\program files\tivoli\tsm\baclient\dsmc backup system objects I get an error about can not find the language file... Argggg. We could do the batch file idea like we kick off our Exchange TDP's, but we are trying to avoid touching 300+ Win2k Clients. In addition we have had to identify which nodes are Win2003 as they are no longer Systemobjects its now System State and System Servers. Thank you for the response though. I kinda wish we had our Intel team install to c:\tsm\... as it seems that the who path with spaces causes problem in general. If I just type c:\tsm\baclient\dsmc backup systemobject into the command line, it doesn't work. What I would try is to change the OBJECTS to: c:\whatever\backup.bat and in the .bat file put cd "c:\program files\tivoli\tsm\baclient'' dsmc backup systemobject See if that makes a difference.
