Most Mac nodes(all client version 5.1.5.1, os lvls 10.2.8, 9.2.2, 10.3.2) have blank IP addresses. Some WinNT 4.00/5.1.6.0 don't have blank IP addresses, some do. One Linux86 2.4.19-27/5.1.5.0 shows 127.0.0.1 . Some nodes have a TCP/IP Name, but no TCP/IP Address.
It's mysterious ...
Can you correlate the server presence of IP addresses to the use of SCHEDMODe PRompted schedules with that client (where the server needs to know the network address of the client in order to contact it)? Or HLAddress spec in the node definition?
thanks, Richard Sims
