Eric,

Thanks for your answer.
You can manage the SDG through the service port (serial port) by e.g. HyperTerminal.
While the SDG is starting you have a chance to stop the procedure by pressing a key.
Here, you get a prompt (after this point, the OS image should begin to boot), where
you can use a limited number of commands. And you can define e.g. the image to boot
(boot device, boot file, etc.). These boot parameters have been overwritten.
(I managed to guess some kind of parameters, and the SDG was booted. However, I don't
know whether they are right.)
Can you see these parameters?

Gyorgy Hegedus

Hi György!
I'm using a SAN Data Gateway, but I don't know what you mean by 'boot
parameters'. If you explain, I will let you know mine.
Kindest regards,

I need help about SAN Data Gateway (in LTO 3583).
Accidentally the boot parameters were overwritten through the service port. Can
anybody tell what should be the boot parameters of SDG?

Thanks in advance.
