I guess I should have expanded my statment that we tried various "kill"
processes *AFTER* we tried the basic taskmanager stopping of the process.
TaskManager "end process" did not work !.

Re: Emergency - Domino TDP backup won't die - need help

Go to the windows box where the TDP resides and do a Alt-Ctrl-Delete.

If it's running as an application, endtask on the application name.
If it's running as a service, endtask the service. I'm not positive of
the service name but it would most likely have dsm* something in it.

help

We have a situation where a Domino TDP backup session won't die and is the
supect for slowness problems. Due to constant problems with Domino, this
is currently in the lime-light as causing the problems we have been
experiencing. Major "executive" players are ringing many phones,
including my bosses !

I have completely shut down the TSM server yet the TSM process on the
Domino server won't stop.

How can we kill this process ??????????

We have tried various "kill" like commands with no results. All service
processes have been stopped.

This is Windows 2000 (just recently downleveled from a 2K3 box per IBM's
recommendations as it being the causer of our constant Domino problems !)

I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer !
