You need to install the TSM Storage Agent on each of those boxes. It may be that the network is a bottleneck for these large backups and compressing first and then sending the smaller file over the network may improve backup time. It depends on a lot of variables so the best tactic is to try it and compare backup times. This is the CHEAP solution if it works. David
