Hi Andrew. This works exactly as advertised. The purpose for the script is not to have tapes left behind in the wall of the library when you have more than 10 tapes to be moved. So, you reply 9 times to fill the 10 IO slots, remove the tapes, then reply 10 more times to get the next batch of ten tapes, and so on. When you have 10 tapes or fewer, you had used a script called DRMREMOVE which specified remove=bulk ( and you did not have to reply). If you used this script with more than 10 tapes, the additional tapes would have been left in their slots and you would see "remove at your convenience" message as result of the mode drmedia. ________________________ Joerg Pohlmann Certified IT Specialist - Storage Systems Tel. 1-604-878-0295 Internal ZIP: 03/CVF/4601/BURN Internet: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

It used to fire ten in and then ask for a reply. I'm at a loss to figure out why as the script hasn't changed. We've got TSM 5.2.3.2 on Win2K. Can anyone suggest something? Here's the full script: DRMREMOVE_GT_10 MOVE DRMEDIA * WHERESTATE=MOUNTABLE SOURCE=DBBACKUP TOSTATE=VAULT APPEND=NO WAIT=yes REMOVE=untileefull prepare wait=yes Andrew Ferris Network Support Analyst iCAPTURE Research Centre University of British Columbia
