We have been using TDP for Exchange successfully for over a year now, but not running clusters. We only have the registered node name in the opt file, which I believe does not set the Exchange name. From Scheduling we call excfull.cmd (comes with install), on the local host that defines and interacts with Exchange by running the TDP client.
Hope this helps. Our Exchange department is trying to install DP for Exchange on a Windows 2003 cluster. When we start the TDP client we receive the following error: ACN5237E Unable to communicate with the Microsoft Exchange Server. The tdpexc.log shows the following line: 12/10/2004 15:16:50 Exchange Server : EVS3 While the dsm.opt in the TDP directory states nodename KL1010TC-EVS3. TDP uses the nodename parameter to set the Exchange Server name, right? If not, where do I change this? Thank you very much for any reply in advance!!!
