Just to supplement Mark's observations...
Keep in mind that relocating files may result in a DRASTIC drop in
the number of recoverable versions of files, as site policies for
Inactive files are often much more meager than for Active files. This
is significant in that a moved file is really a continuation of an
Active file for your purposes, but will be seen as an inactivation by
TSM. So you need to be prepared for the possibility of being unable
to recover back to an older date/time.
