Yes and no. TOR doesn't RUN on UNIX, it is a Windows app. If you have a TSM 5.2.2+ server on Windows, it installs automatically with your TSM server.
BUT, it will MONITOR any TSM server, 5.1.8 or above, or 5.2.2 and above (It is reported to work on earlier levels in ENGLISH only, but isn't supported before 5.1.8). So if you have a *IX TSM server, you can install the standalone version of TOR on a Win2K desktop (or a WinXP or Win2K3 machine), have it create the daily reports, and either mail them to yourself, or save them into an html file on a fileserver that can be accessed via a browser, etc. It doesn't have any hooks into TSM code; it gets info from your TSM server via queries, so it's harmless! Download and run setup.exe; then look in the TSM for WINDOWS admin Guide (5.2.2 or above) in the Chapter on Monitoring your TSM Server; there is a whole section devoted to configuring TOR. Try it, you'll like it! But all it does is run queries against the server. Are you sure you are using the current version? I thought "driver7" was the old beta version. A LOT of things have been fixed/cleaned up in versions after the Beta. If you have a windows TSM server at 5.2.2 or above, TOR should have installed when you installed the code. If your TSM server is not Windows (or if you want to run TOR on a machine other than your TSM server) you can download and install a current TOR package from the FTP site. Go to the TSM downloads for the WINDOWS TSM server, and look for the TSMCON5xxx_WIN.exe executable. That is the current, standalone version of TOR. Install it on a Windows host (Win2K or above). Then look in the 5.2.2 (or above) Admin Guide for the WINDOWS server. In the chapter on Monitoring your TSM Server, there is a sub-chapter on TSM Operational Reporting that is quite helpful. So I don't know what you Want OR to do with your clients.
