Issue a "query backup" using the TSM client on the node that does the backup, and compare the output to the directory in question. You can probably do that with the windows shell, but it is better in Perl, or some higher-level language.
Dsmc query backup "full_directory_path_name" > mylist.txt This will show you all "active" files, with backup dates/times and sizes. -----Original Message----- From: ADSM: Dist Stor Manager [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Laura Mastandrea Sent: Friday, October 28, 2005 2:13 PM To: ADSM-L@VM.MARIST.EDU Subject: [ADSM-L] HOW TO SCRIPT TSM BACKUP VERIFICATION IN WINDOWS Can someone share with me a Windows script that will verify files in a directory have been successfully backed up within TSM?
