Again: *why* did the DBA reorg the database? The fact she used to do it frequently is not really relevant. In our case, I could run EXPIRE INVENTORY three times a day rather painlessly, but that doesn't make it *useful*. As someone once said: "Profile, don't speculate." (It's starting to remind me of the "paging space needs to be 2 times as large as your RAM"-argument.
