The Exchange Server 2003 database files have a ".EDB" and ".STM" extension. For example: "MBDB1.EDB", "MBDB1.STM", "MBDB2.EDB", "MBDB2.STM"
The Exchange Server 2003 log files look like this: "Exxxxxxx".log" For example: E00.log, E0000001.log, E0000002.log, E00tmp.log There are also 2 reserve logs called "res1.log" and "res2.log".
