I'm not saying that's a good idea, but TSM is supported on Linux for pSeries. OTOH Usually AIX is not a major cost factor and Windows is not exactly free either.... I prefer AIX, I've seen a p630 on 2CPU do 10 TB/24h not easily, but it didn't break either.
