We are on TSM 5.4 and have 3 VM servers running redhat. we use a Virtual Consolidated Backup (windows machine ) as a proxy to backup the VMs (snapshots). They are created when the client runs because of the schedule pre/post tasks defined in the TSM client and dumped to the D drive on the VCB. TSM then backs up the VCB including the snapshots that have been dumped to drive D.

He's not sure, how he should sent of the user accounts and where they go. Has anyone or is anyone using VM's VCB & TSM with success and would like to shed some light on how we can get this up and running. I can put you in direct contact with the windows tech I'm referring to. Thanks for any and all help. Yes, we know about and have looked at the IBM training about TSM & VCB but still are stuck. ** Don't be a phishing victim - VCU and other reputable organizations will never use email to request that you reply with your password, social security number or confidential personal information.
