If you run your VMWare file level backups using VCB, it appears you don't get a backup of System state in the usual VSS way, but you get a backup of the C: drive, including the files that are normally locked, correct?
You aren't going to be able to use the TSM client to do a SystemState restore of that. Is there any reason to DO any backups of System State for VM? Are folks just assuming we will rebuild from a fullvm backup in case of registry corruption? Any insight appreciated! Wanda
