It depends, for unix file systems the simple permission bits are kept in the database, only one version. That's why, when only the permissions change, TSM will only update the file, not back it up. For windows and unix extended ACLs, those are stored with the file in the storage pool, and multiple versions are kept. > believe it would keep IAW the policy settings.
