Thanks Paul ,Made the changes in the server dsm.opt
DOMAIN E: Exclude "E:\...\*" Include "E:\Oracle\...\*" 3mth_grp2_MC Now only files/folders from "E:\Oracle" get backed up.But i noticed a problem when using the mentioned include/exclude , all the sub folders from all the other excluded folders get backed up as well.This i feel can cause unnecessary TSM DB growth .As each file/folder backed up consumes 4KB of TSM database space.
