I have no "authoritative source", but two different IBM staffers have commented that a new GUI is in development. Much more like that used for the IBM-XIV SAN, apparently.
That tool is very well designed, IMO, but I can see squeezing all the components/complexity of TSM mgmt into it will take some work. Of course, this could be rumor.... but I'm hoping.
