As one data point: we always set TDP client passwords to never expire. -

Subject: [ADSM-L] Client owner admin password for Exchange TDP

Exchange backups for 2010 require TDP 6.4.0.0 and use of dsmcad.

What we've seen happen is that the TDP password will expire and reset itself
with PASSWORDACCESS GENERATE, but the client owner password doesn't change with
PASSWORDACCESS GENERATE, and so the backup fails.

Are we doing something wrong, or is everybody else just setting the client
owner admin password to never expire?
