Do you mean SQL Server 2008 R2 on Windows Server 2008 R2?
If so, it is supported:

SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard, Enterprise, or Datacenter Editions
are supported. Could it be that you are you running an "Express" edition?
If so, it is not supported.
