Hello Bill, Oracle has not certified Oracle 12 on AIX yet. IBM does not claim support until Oracle does and Oracle won't support it until they have certified it.
You can see this on the Oracle support web site. Go through the "My Oracle Support" website of metalink.oracle.com. It's in the "Certifications" tab.
