Hello,

I have been handed over the task of backing up our MS Exchange 2010 DAG
Environment with TSM and Flashcopy Manager.
I worked out the basic concept of only doing backups of the passive Databases
via an additional DAG node that is only used for these backups.
Now the plan is to do 1 full backup and 6 incremental backups each week with a
retention of one month to a "local" disk (the DAG Databases and the backups
will be on a Storwize V7000), plus a monthly full backup to TSM with 1 year
retention.

I have no experiance with Exchange, and only have one Node with SQL Server 2012
FCM 6.4 installed. I know FCM somehow fused with TDP...
Now to cut to the chase:
- Is it possible to do Incremental VSS backups of an exchange database?
- How do I get FCM to backup to local disk? In the GUI the setting is always
grayed out...

Any help would be really appreciated...

Kind Regards,
Daniel
