Harold If it is the only DBS backup use: del volh t=dbs tod=today force=y If you need to delete a specific DB snapshot then refer to the options available for the delete volume history command in the help section.

Is there a way to force a delete of the last database snapshot backup? I have one from several months ago, sitting on hardware we're decommissioning. DEL VOLHIST TYPE=DBS TODATE=TODAY won't do it and the manual says the last won't be deleted. Is there an un-documented command option? Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------ Harold Vandeventer Systems Programmer State of Kansas - Office of Information Technology Services STE 751-S 910 SW Jackson (785) 296-0631 [Confidentiality notice:] *********************************************************************** This e-mail message, including attachments, if any, is intended for the person or entity to which it is addressed and may contain confidential or privileged information.
