We are currently running tsm 6.3.4 with plans to upgrade to 7.1.x some time this year.
Our tape libraries (3494s) go off support next year. I have been informed that our solution will be amazon s3 storage. Using their storage gateway and vtl interface certain limits are imposed. 1. Limit of 150 TB per library. This is possibly the largest limit. If by chance, a library needs to grow beyond the 150 TB limit, we could just stand up another library. However, can a storage pool span multiple libraries? I don't think so, but wanted to ask.
