I am trying to create an ADT application template, cloned from NewAndroidApplication, that does not create a copy of appcompat_v7 in the workspace and does not attach it to the project. However, I don't see where template.xml or *.ftl do that work. In fact, the only places in there that I see any references to appcompat seem to be #if directives referring to an appCompat variable that never seems to be set.
Where in NewAndroidApplication are the instructions for setting up appcompat?
