Hello, I hope someone can help me to resolve this, as I have tried many suggestions from searches in Google, without success.
The AVD Manager can be run, I configure an AVD but this does not appear to start, even after waiting 10 minutes. I am working with the Android Studio (Beta) 0.8.6 with JRE 1.8.0_11-b12 amd64 To check the installed API's I can start the SDK Manager from within the tool and can see that the following is installed for the Android 4.4W (API 20) - SDK Platform - Android Wear ARM EABI v7a System Image - Android Wear Intel x86 Atom System Image My attempts to resolve the issue have been the following: In the AVD Manager I have created an AVD with the API level of 20 and have confirmed that I have installed an API of the appropriate level. I have noticed also that the Device seems to sometimes be dropped from the AVD that I have created and it is necessary to reselect it. I have tried reducing the RAM to 768 but this does not resolve the issue. After attempting to start the AVD, when I check the Windows Event Viewer I see there's an Exception code: 0xc0000005 As per the article below, I have excluded from DEP the C:\ANDROID_HOME\android_studio\sdk\tools\emulator.exe but this does not resolve the issue. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/cb8a6fd1-9cc6-4c14-9f0d-e280a1acb02d/exception-code-0xc0000005?forum=w7itproappcompat Please can someone advise?
