Hi, My name is Prashant and I am a retuning Android developer. I worked with Android 2.3 and created a small app that would calculate the carbon footprint. I was using eclipse then with adt. Now when I have a new app in my mind, I found that the new Android studio is not eclipse based. This means that I'll have to learn a new set of shortcuts that is specific to InteliJ and android studio. With a huge eclipse IDE user base, I think, Android team should continue providing updates to ADT. This will promote the seasoned developers like me.
