Hi all, I'm getting a really happy fun vague error when running soapsuds against my assembly. It says the format of the file is invalid. (?!?) I'm thinking it is related to this.....
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;Q309692& My assembly was build in one module using managed C++. So, that's kindof why I am thinking the above link explains it, but not quite sure. This same issue is keeping me from using the assembly itself when trying to get manifest data out of it for the proxies. It seems that SoapSuds may be having the same problem, but hard to tell b/c the error may be "translated" by soapsuds. At this point, it is able to be isolated since I can create just a "Hello World" server in managed C++ and I have this problem. Can anyone verify this? If so, is it possible that this knarly bug got fixed in the latest .NET beta? Or in one of the service packs? This seems like a particularly bad bug..... or is it just me? This sucks. :-( Thanks! -Trey You can read messages from the Advanced DOTNET archive, unsubscribe from Advanced DOTNET, or subscribe to other DevelopMentor lists at http://discuss.develop.com.
