[ADVANCED-DOTNET] Persisting Controls At RunTime

Hi,
I'm trying to persist a control at runtime.
I have tried the PersistControl method of The ControlPersister Class but
it seems that this method works correctly only at design time.
So I have tried this of code:

"System.Web.UI.Design.WebControls.DataGridDesigner designer = new
System.Web.UI.Design.WebControls.DataGridDesigner();
designer.Initialize(instanceof DataGrid);
designer.GetPersistInnerHtml();
"

But The Method GetPersistInnerHtml returns always null.

Any Suggestions?
