I am trying to use forms authentication in a web application.When encrypting the password in a configuration file with either the md5 or sha1 methods -by setting the password format attribute- the FormsAuthentication.Authenticate Method returns false even if the entered password and username are true. When not encrypting the password, every thing goes well. any help please?
