So which stack of libraries constitute your language? As highly as I value many
of Microsoft's products, there's this nagging little voice that always calls
out and tells me to remain diversified. It's really clear to me that having
ideas from many perspectives has greatly enhanced my toolbox, and the open
source world brings very different perspectives than MS does. So I tend to
start looking at open source libraries as the basis of my "language", while
still spending tons of cash on products from Microsoft and others.

I do agree with your point in concept though. the libraries offer a more
targeted approach to learning.
