Assuming that you use VS.Net 2003:
For C# - Change the assembly name under project properties
For C++ - Change the output file name under the Linker->General
properties of the project.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [ADVANCED-DOTNET] how do i change a project's name along with
it's exe

Is there a way to change the name of not only a project but also it's
exe
without creating a new project and copying files over because renaming a
project doesn't change the exe name.
