I actually derived my method independantly from some of the info Hassan's book (minus the hand coded wsdl part)when it first came out. I see now that someone else has now described that method here as the 'Hybrid Approach': http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/issues/05/06/ServiceStation/default.aspx
To me, based on the current tools, this is really the only viable way that's automated enough to use. Most people do not want to hand coded wsdl files iteratively or at all.
