I wonder if one of those patch's that MS is sitting on are for the IDE crash when one tries to debug a remote process.
Doesn't crash all the time, maybe the 6th or 7th time I tap into a remote class from the debug menu. Very annoying when you think you have a break-through and go to test and have to restart the IDE. That can ruin a guy. -----Original Message----- From: Discussion of advanced .NET topics. After half an hour of work, devenv.exe has 300 MB of RAM and 600 MB of virtual memory. Minimizing it releases RAM to cca 10MB, but usage of virtual memory is still the same. Anyway. I believe, it's the bug in VB compiler, as reported in http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/productfeedback/viewfeedback.aspx?feedbackid=1 14c17a2-08ea-41ac-8cfd-9c86a53612df The only thing we can do is to wait for some hotfix or service pack (and hope we will not go mad).
