Look at db4o again. It is like prevalence. That's why I listed it
first. It is much more up to date, plus it is developed in part by the
same author as bamboo prevalence. I then listed other related
alternatives such as castle's activerecord because, as I mentioned, db4o
costs money if you are not using it in a gpl application.
As for using bamboo its pretty straight forward (the examples cover it
fairly well).

Again as I said, it hasn't been developed in years. You'll notice that
codeproject article itself is 3 years old. That's why I listed some
other alternatives that are still actively maintained.
