Hi Jim,

Did you get a note from Jim Grisanzio setting you up offline?? In looking at
the list on opensolaris.org, it does not look like he has set you up yet.? Did
you ever respond to my note with the one paragraph description of what you
group would be doing?? I never saw it, but I may have missed it.? That could be
what the hold up is.

I'd suggest resending your note out to advocacy-discuss with the following:

        * Name of your OpenSolaris User Group (OSUG)

        * Two or more initial participants listed with their OpenSolaris user
IDs
        * A one paragraph description of the group -- including location (City,
State, Country), activities planned, related organizations, etc.? Once you have
done that, Jim G can set you up, and we can send you some goodies.?

Sound good?

Jim...once you get set up... We'll ship some freebies and T-shirts to get you
jump-started with your OSUG... we work in Sun's Menlo Park Campus in building
18...Mark DeHart can put together a little care-package for you all once you've
formally established your OSUG...we'll just need a shipping address and a phone
number for FEDEX..be sure to CC Mark...since he's doing the shipments..

Hi Jim,

Looks like you are almost there.? Here are the three easy steps:

        * Name of your OpenSolaris User Group (OSUG)

        * Two or more initial participants listed with their OpenSolaris user
IDs
        * A one paragraph description of the group -- including location (City,
State, Country), activities planned, related organizations, etc.? And you have
already done the first two!
