I agree. It needs to be one thing that even I can spot on the site, 
download, install, and run. I'm not saying that the other distros can't 
be there and linked to as well, but I need to start from one place and 
work out from there based on my interests, needs, and skills.

I don't even think we are reducing choice here. Honestly, I think we'll 
be reaching out and offering new choices to orders of magnitude more 
people than we are currently engaging with. To me, that's good 
community-building and that benefits everyone.
