hey ... pretty cool Saturday session of the JPOSUG today. Nice turn out.
Multiple sessions. And a lot of new people to meet.

You know, I`m thinking that it`s time to do a little kernel conference
for OpenSolaris, Linux, and BSD here in Tokyo. We could hold it right at
the Sun office on the 27th floor just like BarCamp a few weeks ago. I
figure James shouldn`t have all the fun down there in Australia, eh?
http://au.sun.com/sunnews/events/2009/kernel/. We already hold Linux
meetings here and get about 45 people or so, we hold OpenSolaris
meetings and get about 45 people (and well over 100 for launches), and
BarCamp brought in 100 people from multiple communities. I wonder what
would happen if we organized a day long conf specifically to bring
together the three OSs? I bet we could attract 150 top guys from Tokyo.
Good idea?

Jim
