I think you are playing an important role in the community in Japan by being a language bridge for information going /both/ ways. And that's important for the entire OpenSolaris community globally. No need for all of your content to be in English, but just mix it up like you have been doing and that would be great. On a related note: Direct and complete translations are oftentimes not necessary (and they can be costly and time consuming, too). The Tokyo2Point0 community will be trying something new at next week's meeting, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it works live. Instead of translating entire presentations in real time, they will have a presentation in Japanese with a short /summary/ at the end in English. And then they'll have an English presentation with a short /summary/ at the end in Japanese. Also, they are reducing the duration of each presentation to increase the number of presentations they can get in during an evening. Very cool idea on both counts.
