Hello Michelle,

You have wonderful voice and I really enjoyed listening how you speak.
To make things easy I suggest http://www.odiogo.com/ text-to-speech
tool. It becomes very popular these days because people usually translate
blogs and articles of interest to MP3s and listen them while they are
travelling to the work place. I want to say big thank you because you
translated my idea to reality (I know that it is much easier to
write ideas then to put them into reality).

My original idea is slightly different. I was thinking about this
weekly news podcast as a typical radio news show. It should has
three parts:
*Highlights (from one to three sentences about each news)-up to 1min
*Detailed news (covering each news with journalistic type of view)-up to 15
min
*Event of the week (interview with one or more persons covering
most significant event or project of that week, or if there is not any such
thing then speaking with one of many of different UGs leaders, Community
leaders, etc.) - up to 15min.

Also show should have covered background sound which logically divides
each part, like in any other radio news show (i.e. BBC World Service).

Uros

Hi all,

I gave this idea a try here:

http://mediacast.sun.com/users/michelle12345/media/osol_news.mp3/details

It is an 11-minute podcast of the monthly newsletter content. This is my
first podcast, so there are some sound quality issues I will resolve if
you all think this is worth continuing. It only took one hour, which is
about all the time I could put into this, but I'm happy to record these.
Thanks to Uros for this great idea and of course to Jim Grisanzio for
driving the newsletter. Even if it isn't what we decide to do, I really
enjoyed trying it out.
