My +1 to this proposal. But here are a few things you will have to do to proceed further.
1. BOSUG name is already taken (its Bangalore OpenSoalris Usergroup). Decide on any other name. How about Kolkata OSUG (KOSUG)? 2. You need OpenSolaris .org IDs of the initial members to apply for a new OSUG affiliation. Just email IDs will not do, so please register yourself and your other fellow members at http://auth.opensolaris.org and then submit the opensolaris.org IDs in this thread.
