Hi Nichole,
If it is possible to talk about OpenSolaris, I would like also to present
Crossbow project asone excellent tool for network virtualisation since I'm
directly involved into its developmenton a voluntary basis.
Please give me/us additional information to whom we should send our proposals?
Thanks,Uros

Hi Nichole,

Okay,I just would present my project 'OpenSolaris for EeePC(Netbook)' in
opensolaris.org.you know using netbook some advantage points using Development
through OpenSolaris - easy mobility and cheap cost to develop on
OpenSolaris(Solaris).

Last year I have presented it as LT at C1 and JJUG(Japanese Java User Group)
attendees were very interested some asked after my presentation.
In this year I am thinking of presenting latest infos about using OpenSolaris
on Netbooks and how to choose and use OpenSolaris on your Netbooks(laptops)
through some topics - example uses.or something.

Hi Masafumi,

As I understand it, anything strictly related to Java should be at JavaOne,
anything else developer related or Solaris (OpenSolaris) related should be at
Develop. People who attend JavaOne, will be able to attend Develop as well
without any additional cost, so if your sessions are of interest to those
attending JavaOne, they can go check it out.

Thanks,
Nichole

Hi Nichole

I was thinking of the same as Olga.but I was afraid it is for Java, not for
Solaris and OpenSolaris.I might better submit Oracle OpenWorld but there don't
seem to be appropriated...

I have more question,You are thinking Develop sessions for Solaris on JavaOne
this year should be presented Java Technogies on Solaris(OpenSolaris)?
I have a few topics I can submit the paper for JavaOne,but I would like to know
whether they are appropriated or not.please I much appreciate if you would tell
some ideas for the sessions in detail.

Thanks,

Hi Olga,

JavaOne's sole focus this year will be Java technology, you can submit a paper
for Develop which will have a Solaris related track. To submit a paper for
Develop, go to: http://www35.cplan.com/cfp250/main.jsp#

The CFP is open until March 21st.

Thanks,
Nichole
