Nominations and submissions for the 2011 Zayed Future Energy Prize are
now being accepted, offering the winner a prize of 1.5 million dollars.

NOMINATE TODAY- ENTRIES ACCEPTED UNTIL SUBMISSIONS CLOSE 8TH OCTOBER 2010
If you wish to nominate someone that you feel would be worthy of this
prize you can do so at Zayed Future Energy Prize. The prize also awards
up to two finalists, who will receive 350,000 dollars each.
The prize is open to individuals, organisations and NGO's in the fields
renewable and sustainable energy technologies. The prize is open on a
global platform and, nominations and submissions are done online filling
out a short form. Last years awards attracted more than 600 nominations.
All nominees have to complete their submission by 8th October 2010. The
judging criteria for entries are innovation, long term vision and
leadership.
* Innovation: Proof of cutting-edge concepts and solutions that solve
today's energy and sustainability challenges.
* Long-term vision: Demonstration of ability to scale through a
commercially viable or sustainable business model.
* Leadership: Championing their vision in order to advance clean energy
and sustainable solutions.
The prize evaluation process ensures consistency and transparency.
Firstly, entrants must show that they have created a cutting edge concept
which has been proven in the market to solve today's energy and
sustainability challenges; next that it can achieve scale through a
commercially viable or sustainable business model, and finally that they
have demonstrated first rate leadership.
So if you know someone who should be commended for the part they play
