Well, there was a time when Red Hat had installer lingo in redneck. I thought that was cute. Top that, city slicker! Use the right tool for the job. My #1 reason for liking an operating system is because it does what I need it to do. Very important for me is having the confidence that after doing an update the system is going to actually continue functioning. FYI, Eric, "Linux" is a kernel. Some people call a given distribution such as Debian or CentOS "GNU/Linux." > #2 is OBSD's attempt to remain compatible with real UNIX. > Even SysV UNIX. My understanding is that this was written without Linus having looked at UNIX source code. > I trust Microsoft OS's to be more secure than any flavor of Linux. > Microsoft has shown a more dedicated effort towards > security in the last ten years than any flavor of Linux. How many shares of Microsoft stock do you own ? ;-) > Yes this is a Linux Flame! > All Linux lovers please respond. > LINUX SUCKS!! Of course it sucks. All OS's suck. When you find/write a perfect OS, let us know. ROFL.
