Wow, this discussion is being cut off already?  There are so many points I
disagree with - and if I am not convinced then I am sure there must be many
others out there like me who will never get to understand the whole "free"
software movement.

You've already decided that free software is a good thing??  Well, how can
you promote that idea when the people you need to convert don't understand
it??

Apparently there is no point to this anymore, I will just have to stay with
Microsoft and Vista.

Note that this list is for the coordination of a campaign to promote free
software.

The idea that free software is a good thing is something we've already
decided.
Debate about that should take place elsewhere so we don't drown people who
signed up for this list with messages they don't want.
