Wow, this discussion is being cut off already? There are so many points I disagree with - and if I am not convinced then I am sure there must be many others out there like me who will never get to understand the whole "free" software movement.
You've already decided that free software is a good thing?? Well, how can you promote that idea when the people you need to convert don't understand it?? Apparently there is no point to this anymore, I will just have to stay with Microsoft and Vista. Good luck in your efforts. ------------------------------ Message: 7 Date: Fri, 04 May 2007 16:28:33 -0400 From: John Sullivan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: [BadVista Advocate] "Free" software To: "BadVista.org Advocacy" <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Note that this list is for the coordination of a campaign to promote free software. The idea that free software is a good thing is something we've already decided. Debate about that should take place elsewhere so we don't drown people who signed up for this list with messages they don't want. I might suggest <http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnu-misc-discuss> for those interested in debate on this topic. _______________________________________________ Advocate mailing list [email protected] http://badvista.fsf.org/mailman/listinfo/advocate
