Hello, Ad groups fully support both Website and Keyword criteria. You can ad both types of criteria to ad groups with CPC bidding using the AdWords API. One thing to keep in mind is that you should make sure that your ad group has both a keywordMaxCpc and a siteMaxCpc value set if you're going to add both types of criteria to the ad group. A common source of frustration is trying to add a Website criterion to an ad group that does not have a siteMaxCpc attribute set, which currently results in a misleading error message. We've been thinking about putting together a blog post to go over exactly what needs to be done when combining Keywords and Websites in the same ad group, but the most important thing is to set both keywordMaxCpc and siteMaxCpc.
I know our documentation team has gone through the AdWords API guide once before to reflect the fact that Website and Keyword criteria are both supported in the same ad group now, but I just checked again and I see some erroneous information is still up at http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/developer/adwords_api_services.html I'll make sure that's brought to their attention.
